Three delegates have decided they know better than families how to confront the gut-wrenching end-of-life decisions. And the Virginian-Pilot says they’ve got it all wrong — and are hypocrites to boot.

Cosgrove, Marshall and Black ought to level with taxpayers about the cost of extending countless lives that might otherwise be allowed to end naturally. Ironically, some of their congressional soul mates are the very individuals pushing for cuts in the federal Medicaid system.
